Toward the reconstruction of multi-cultural literacy education : the present situation and problems in the Study Chinese Language Abroad program at Bunkyo University

In this paper, we have analyzed the results of educational practices about the intensive Study Chinese Language Abroad progam based on educational cooperation between Beijing Foreign Studies University and Bunkyo University since 2009. The purpose is improve communicative Chinese Language skill and international consciousness. We pointed out that this program is effective for the improvement of student's communicative skills on the grobal and international scene, and at the same time what kind of problems we have faced in the present situation. The basic data are students' reports which are written after the end of this program.
