In this study, results of a questionnaire survey about classroom manner consciousness and behavior, which was conducted in June-July 2012, November 2013, and June-July 2014 with Japanese, Chinese, and Korean university students, were analyzed. In this paper, the survey results of Japanese university students and Korean university students' results are compared and analyzed in three areas: use of the cell-phone during class, going in and out of the room during class, and personal appearance in the classroom (for example, wearing hats in class).
Our results showed a general tendency among Japanese students to be more concerned about behavior that might disturb others. We plan to look more closely at the reasons for this.
