Is this true? Can it really lead to a positive educational result? In this experiment, we presented one university class, Information and Economy, in two different ways: lectures in a large lecture room, and lectures provided on network (on-demand type). According to a questionnaire after the series of lectures, the students choosing the e-Learning lectures studied longer, more frequently checked Internet sites related to the lectures, and were more satisfied with what they had learned. The differences between the two groups (students of regular lectures and of e-Learning ones) were statistically significant. In addition, the difference in the average semester test scores of the two groups was statistically significant (higher for the students of the e-Learning course).", "subitem_description_type":
