Our research interview team that is consisted by Prof. Yukio Nasu and Associate Professor Jun Yokokawa has visited Japanese ten universities' tourism education professionals and performed interview surveys. Prof. Masato Sasaki and Prof. Yamaguchi have introduced these tourism professionals to our visiting team. These universities are located in Kanto, Chubu, Kansai, and Hokkaido regions. And Associate Prof. Yokokawa has visited a tourism specialist business person in U.S.A. to do a comparative study of Japanese and U.S.A. tourism education. The subject of this paper is to study how to develop and apply tourism education in universities and to state the modus operandi of introducing new era of tourism education system.
