When we examine how inernational legal rules has been used in municipal court, we should see the case "Trial for Personal Legal Compensation after World War II"in Japanese court. The case shows a significant example to us. The interpretation of international legal rule is a factor to decide the application in municipal court. And the application of international rule in municipal court provides a possibility of fulfillment and development for internatonal law. The Trial for Personal Legal Compensation after World War II is a rare case that contents a lot of actions that relate and apply international law in municipal court. The case shows us a fact that when international legal rules appear on municipal court, the interpretation of judges, of the plaintiff and defendent, decides the effect of the case.
