While there are no models provided by the Ministry of Education and Science, there are two common areas of activity. One aims at recruiting high school students to take a particular university\u0027s entrance exam, and the other involves university teachers telling high school teachers about perceived shortcomings in high school education. In this paper, we would like to present a joint management model on which Bunkyo University is now working. This might be the most preferable kind of relationship from the viewpoint of connected education. Joint management will contribute much to faculty development at university. A good example is the career education working group consisting of high school teachers and both teachers and staff of Bunkyo University. One of the expected results is a new career program for high school students in which they can experience higher education while also thinking about their life plans. We are trying to open as many bilateral channels as possible between high schools and our university.
