意思決定支援の情報システム(I) : 「経営情報論」序説 A Treatise on the Decision-Making Support System (I) : Introduction to "Management Information Systems" イシ ケッテイ シエン ノ ジョウホウ システム 1 ケイエイ ジョウホウロン ジョセツ 山田, 一郎 This article treats the most current problems of so-called "decision-making support systems (DSS.), which has been, since about 10 years, the most urgent matter both in the area of practice and of theory. And the core of this problem consists in the explaining how the information systems are to be build up for the need of managerial decision-making. 　And then previously to explain the information systems, firstly we must recognise the very nature of decision-making itself. Because that how the information systems are to be, they are regulated or restricted by what kind of needs, type or nature of decision-making are. Moreover, writer believe that it is a narrow view to confine decision-making to strategic one. At least, there are two kind of decision-making in business organization : 　① the strategic decision-making (fundamental decision-making, by the top management or the executive directors.) 　② the tactical decision-making (by general management ? especially president or a chief executive officer = CEO, and divisional or departmental managers ? middle management) 　The above-mentioned 2 category of decision-making are quite different in their nature. And each of them calls for the different information systems which are suitable for each their own. 　The above-mentioned facts tell us the key point of which I raised the question.
