韓国の健康危機管理体制における政治と行政 A Case Review on Politics-Administration Relations Health Crisis Management in South Korea since the 2000s 縄倉, 晶雄 文教大学 Bunkyo University This study reviews how the relations between politics and administration in South Korea’s health crisis management have been since the 2000s. While politics-administration relations have been major issues in established democracies’ public administration studies for a century, the issues in Asia’s developmental states including South Korea have been argued differently from the Western ones: Namely, the developmental states have been pointed out to be ruled by the logic of public administration because their authoritarian rule has excluded political competition. The development of South Korea’s public administration studies for the last decade, however, points out that the politics-administration relations have been highly complicated than ever thought and the relations have been determined by political leaders politically and carefully.
