アンセルムスによるカリタスの理解 : アウグスティヌスとの比較考察 St. Anselm's Understanding of Caritas : A Comparison with St. Augustine アンセルムス ニ ヨル カリタス ノ リカイ アウグスティヌス トノ ヒカク コウサツ 山崎, 裕子 ヤマザキ, ヒロコ Yamazaki, Hiroko 文教大学 Bunkyo University This paper compares St. Anselm's Understanding of caritas with that of St. Augustine. Etymologically, the meaning of caritas and dilectio is derived from ?y?π?, and amor is derived from ??λ??. 　Augustine uses these three words almost synonymously, but Anselm uses them in different ways. This paper analyses the way those words are used in Anselm's Prayer for Friends. In that text, caritas has three meanings: (1) love from God to men (2) love from men to God (3) love between men. When Anselm uses dilectio, it usually means (3) love between men. When he writes caritas tua, it means (1) love from God to men. And when he writes caritas mea, it means (2) love from men to God. 　In this way Anselm gives dilectio and caritas slightly different meanings.
