太平洋戦争開戦後における文学者の使命 Mission of the Literary Person after the Pacific War Outbreak of War 松本, 和也 This paper shows how literary scholars considered their roles during the period from 1941 to 1945 and after the Pacific War, by investigating empirical newspapers and magazines at that time. In the first chapter I examined the previous history studies of literature after the Pacific War. While only cultural controls and private literary activities are paid attention to the history of literature, I confirmed that public literary activities have not yet been described. In Chapters 2 and 3, I surveyed and analyzed the discourse situation where literary scholars were strictly questioned which seems to be directly proportional to the worsening of the battlefield.
