| 内容記述 | The relatives of the disabled who use day-activity center fill out the questionnaire entitled "What I think these days". The questionnaire consists of twenty six kinds of questions including human relation of the attendant family, medical service, daily life of the disabled at home, substitute function of the attendant family, the disabled independence from parents, demands to the accomodation institution, brother and sister of the disabled person and attendant's recover from exhaustion. The disabled are not at work because of their severely handicap caused by motor function problem or mental retarded. They can continue to use small sized dayactivity center with the help of their family member as attendant. 374 attendant families answered the questionnaire. Then following facts are known from the anlysis of the results. 1) Parents'own counselling and social work abilities cultivated during taking care of their disabled children are useful. 2) Small sized independent group as living place should be built instead of their own home and unite with their day-activity function. 3) The accomodation institution must offer service adopting affection ties as family members. 4) Respite service is necessary for the attendant taking care of the disabled at home. 5) Special medical service will support the community and independent living of the disabled. |
