| 内容記述 | The purpose of this paper was to study how sex-role develops in school childhood by investigating the sex-role behaviors and the sex-role ideas, and to make clear whether or mot the sex-role behaviors develop after the sex-role ideas have been formed. The subjects were about 600 school boys and girls at the age from 7 to 10. They were requested to rate how often and how many of the 15 play games they do, and to rate whether 24 sentences, which describe sex-role traits, apply to the school boys or girls. The results were as follows ; First after the factor analysis, with the role of boys, we obtained two salient factors which could be referred to as "activeness" and "roughness". And with the one of girls, we also had two factors which suggested "gentleness" and "obedience". Second, the factor scores were obtained in each factor dimension and we found the highest recognized factor was "activeness", and the lowest recognized one was "obedience". Third, we investigated the deveelopmental changes of the sex-role ideas, but not the sex-role behaviors. Four, girls made the clear discrimination between the masculinity and femininity than boys thougout all the grade. Five, the sex-role behaviors didn't develop after the sex-role ideas has been formed. And the tendency that the male role's behaviors were more often appeared than the female's was found. |
