内容記述 | This report is a case study of a girl "A-ko" (a junior highshool student) who refused to go to school with "ijime" (tease) as a start. This case has two important points. 1) Modern school educational system A-ko is a normal junior high school student and does not have any problems. Nevertheless, she refused to go to school. One of some reaseons is that the school educational system does not function properly. So students cannot adjust themselves to their school life because of their chronic fatigue and stress brought about by their busy shool life. "Ijime" is simply a manifestation of this educational environment. And it should be noted that teachers failed to deal with "ijime" event. 2) Confusions of family system When A-ko began to refuse to go to school, her family was thrown into confusions. Her family confronted with the crisis of family cycle at that time. And it had to take the family developmental taskes but could not. Essentially the family offers the place where A-ko should be cured, but contradictly the conflicts between family members increased A-ko's mental fatigue. In this case the author assisted her parents to co-operate according to the family therapy techniques. This co-operation gave her family a chance where A-ko was able to take a rest and regain her confidence. Consequently she started to go to school again and her parents also were able to reconstruct their relationship. |
