| 内容記述 | The concept of imagery has been neglected in behavioristic psychology. But in clinical psychology it has been used especially for the purpose of psychotherapy. In this paper the relationship between imagery and affect was discussed from standpoint of imagery-used psychotherapy. Free-floating imagery technique makes the patients' experience more immediate and allow him to represent his emotions. Also behavior therapy based on the fact that imagery can evoke emotions can extinct the patient's irrelevant conditioning which worries him. These two different types of imagery-used therapy seem to assume similar theoretical models that imagery is equivalent to real object or event. |
