| 内容記述 | Two problems of synthetic detergent have been discussed very often. One is harmfulness of synthetic detergent, the other is environmental pollution cased by its using. We also had discussed about the former problem in previous several reports. In this paper we have studied on the latter, water pollution cased by using synthetic detergent in human living. One person consumers water of 200 liter in one day and drains domestic sewarage of 200 liter. Domestic sewarage causes water pollution together with industrial waste water. In fact, in Tokyo Bay and Setonaikai, water pollution is several and red tide oftern occurs. It is said that phosphorus, nitrogen and other nutrients are large factor of eutriphication which cause red tide. Domestic sewarage is very good condition for eutriphication because the ratio of phoshorus and nitrogen in domestic sewarage is suitable. Therefore in order to defend against water pollution, it is necessary to devise the countermeasure for domestic sewarage, and none phosphorus synthetic detergent is one step forward to devise the countermove for eutriphication. In Saitama Prefecture also, water pollution of many rivers is remarkable, for example Den-u River and Ayase River where flow through the city. Water pollution of those rivers is caused by both of domestic sewarage and industrial waste water. LAS (main synthetic detergent ) concentration in rivers water in Saitama Prefecture are very high at average 0.45ppm. It seems that domestic sewarage and LAS contaminate the minor rivers were flow through densely populated city. The state of water pollution in Motoara River is investigated by analyzing COD and LAS concentration in the river water. Water pollution of the downstream makes progress relatively, but it is not so notable as Den-u River and Ayase River. It is considered reason that the amount of flowing water is relatively much in case of Motoara River. It is clear that domestic sewarage takes large parts in water pollution. It is necessary to take countermeasure for domestic sewarage such as arranging drains and none phosphorus synthetic detergent. Therefore consumer and government should look at synthetic detergent again from the viewpoint of environmental pollution. |
