| 内容記述 | The act of education is purposeful. Teachers must act to achieve the purpose. Teachers are primarily persons of goodwill and they act with goodwill, but goodwill alone does not necessarily bring about good results; herein lies the problems. An act of education has five aspects; (1) Reality (2) Accountability (3) Public interests (4) Organization (5) Autonomy Because teachers' act of goodwill sometimes leads to unfavorable results, every teacher must pay attention to his accountability. Recently the accountability in education has been given much stress in the U.S.A. and England. When cosidering educational management we must emphasize accountability in the act of education, in terms especially of the conditions prevailing in public education today. All teachers must take accountability into serious consideration. It is needless to say that teachers cannot take the sole responsibility for poor results, when and if they occur, but it is hoped that they will excercise this ingenuity in developing new teaching methods that will bring about better results. |
