At that time, the clan was a Nationalistic group of Nichirenism. It is  a known fact that Kenji was a member. In the early Showa period, which was in his later years, Japan had unstable social conditions with its own imperialistic policy of aggression. Our judgement about what Kenji's Nichirenism was is very important.
