| 内容記述 | The purpose of this qualitative study was to generate a hypothesis about the psychological process by which male college graduates settle into their working lives. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with 19 male company employees and protocol data of them were analyzed. As a result, the following hypothesis was generated. One settles into one's working life by deciding what to do as an employee. The decision-making process is to first understand "the organization and job" and "the general features of organizations, jobs, and employees" from one's experiences as an employee. Then, one can image "one's state at a certain point in the future" and "whether one is on the course for the future." Based on work experience, one gains a clear sense about one's expectations for jobs. One then decides about the future by comparing one's views and expectations. This hypothesis indicates that the process of settling into working life is worth studying in the field of career development psychology. | |||||||||||||

| 内容記述 | 本研究の目的は、質的研究法によって、大卒男性の職業定着期における心理的プロセスに関する、仮説を生成することであった。社会人を対象(19名)として半構造化面接を行い、質的分析を行った結果、職業定着期には「職業人としての進路決定」が行われているという仮説を提示した。その進路決定のプロセスは、実際の仕事の経験から「自分の会社・仕事」「一般的な会社・仕事・サラリーマン」についての理解が進み、それらにもとづいて「将来の自分」「将来にわたって持続する自分」のイメージが形成される。一方仕事の経験から「仕事に期待すること」も明確になり、これらを比較検討することで、今後どう仕事に関わるのかに関して進路決定が行われる、というものであった。この仮説を提示したことで、職業定着期はキャリア発達上重要な時期であることが示唆された。 | |||||||||||||
