| 内容記述 | For the contrastive analysis of vocabulary, especially that of adjectives, several points need to be noted. The first is the identification of the word. In this paper, some of the syntactic features of Thai adjectives will be discussed and then their distribution in certain sentence patterns will be compared with those of the Japanese language. Second, some of the basic Thai abjectives will be contrasted with Japanese adjectives for their overlaps and differences in meaning. Their synonyms will also be considered. In discussing adjectives, it is necessary to take into account the connotations, both social and personal, of the words to be analyzed, since the lack of such knowledge may make ambiguous the discrepancies in the meanings of these words. In this regard, it should be emphasized that the comparison of vocabulary should be done in such a way that the understanding of different cultures and their sense of values is deepened. \n語彙に関する対照研究で、形容詞の比較の場合、いくつかの注意すべき問題点がある。まず、品詞の認定であり、次にその語のもつ意味範囲である。本稿ではタイ語の形容詞の統語的な特徴をみたあと、いくつかの構文においてどのようにあらわれるかを日本語と比較する。また、その他の統語的な問題として補足成分や反対語、品詞の派生などについてもふれる。次に基本的な形容詞のもつ意味範囲と日本語との意味の重なり、区別、類語的な問題についてみていくことにする。 形容詞を考える場合、その言葉のもつ社会的、日常的背景にもとづく発想、社会通念を知る必要がある。そうした事実に立脚した認識を欠けば意味的なズレを生じる危険性が多分にある。語彙の比較を通してさらに価値観、文化の理解に努めることが大切であろう。 |
