\nThe present essay is a sequel to 'Earth Science Imagination in Miyazawa Kenji(1) - Petrified wood(1) and agate -' (Bulletin of the Faculty of Language and Literature, No.21-2, Bunkyo University, Mar. 2008), and continues an investigation into the relationship between Miyazawa Kenji and petrified wood/ wood opal. An empirical is made into the possibility of petrified wood/ wood opal Kenji dreamed of as material for manufacturing personal seal (Japanese INKAN), based primarily both on the findings achieved from a field survey at Iwayado where Kenji is said to have collected wood opal, and on a particular piece of petrified wood unearthed from the Inase Stratum at Takamatsu, Hanamaki City, the same stratum as the one at Iwayado.},
