A questionnaire listing these items was administered to 207 students tudying in two colleges, along with the Self-rating Depression Scale; this was done in order to examine the relationship between adaptation to the college environment and depression tendency. A correlation analysis revealed a positive relationship tween the depression tendency and item 2: I have thought of retiring from my college.
