| 内容記述 | This paper aims to compensate for the leeway in the existing studies on the assessment of delinquency with the MMPI in recent years in Japan. Both the Japanese and English literatures on the assessment of delinquency with the MMPI, and particularly English literatures published since 1990, were reviewed from the viewpoint of the analyses of high point codes and profile patterns, development of delinquency scales, and application of factor analysis methods.Based on the several findings obtained by reviewing the above-mentioned literatures, it could be conclud-ed that further studies on the assessment of delinquency with the MMPI, should not be carried out before a thorough discussion on the following four methodological problems: a. eliminating biases in collecting and evaluating data concerning delinquency; b.suming that there exist various types of delinquencies, such as sexual delinquency and violent delin-quency; c. assuming that delinquency and mental disorder are arranged psychopathologically on the same contin-uum; and d. remedying a deficiency of the MMPI by conducting other psychological tests and/or social investiga-tions. \nこの論文は、我が国における近年の MMPI による非行性のアセスメントに関する研究の遅れを取り戻すことを目的としたものである。MMPI による非行性のアセスメントに関する日本語および英語の文献、特に1990 年以降に発表された英語の文献を、高点コードの分析、非行性尺度の開発、プロフィール型の分析および因子分析法の適用の観点から概観する。上述の文献を概観して得られた若干の発見に基づき、MMPI による非行性のアセスメントに関する研究は、今後、次の四つの方法論上の問題を十分に検討した上で実施されるべきである、と結論する。(1)非行性に関する資料を収集し、評価するに当たっては、バイアスを除去すること(2)性非行性、暴力非行性などといった各種の非行性がある、と仮定すること(3)非行性と精神障害は精神病理学的に同一の連続体に配列される、と仮定すること(4)MMPI の欠陥を他の心理検査および/または社会調査によって補完すること |
