| 内容記述 | The discourse in the field of social work has gradually converged towards a universally accepted definition, as evinced by the consolidation efforts of international organizations (International Federation of Social orkers). This universalization, however, contrasts markedly with Japan's adoption of Western social work theories in its educational framework, a practice that occasionally engenders a perceived inadequacy in addressing clinical complexities. This paper endeavors to scrutinize the prevailing dynamics surrounding social work through the lens of postcolonial studies. Until recently, numerous countries have mimicked the pedagogical structure of American and European social work theory, often giving the impression of socio-academic colonization. Nonetheless, there has been an emerging trend towards indigenization, where local spiritual elements are being integrated. In the context of this paper, critical reflection becomes indispensable in facilitating a meaningful dialogue between the universality of social work and the process of indigenization. |

| 内容記述 | ソーシャルワーク領域においては、国際機関（国際ソーシャルワーカー連盟）が推進する統一的定義が採択されることを見るにつけ、ユニバーサル化へと働きかける力が存在していることが認められる。しかしながら、日本国内においては、欧米のソーシャルワーク理論の導入を教育の中心に据えているがゆえに、必ずしも実践上の実情に即したものでないとの認識が生じる場合もある。本稿では、ポストコロニアル研究の視点から、現代のソーシャルワークが置かれている状況の検討を試みる。 これまでの流れとしては、欧米のソーシャルワーク理論が主流となる中で、多くの国々は、あたかも植民地のようにその教育方針に追随してきたと言える。それにもかかわらず、スピリチュアルな側面を取り入れることで、地域特性を反映したインディジナイゼーション（土着化）の動きも見受けられる。 従って、本稿では、ユニバーサル化されたソーシャルワークと、インディジナイゼーション（土着化）との間で対話を展開するための、深遠な省察が求められることを論じている。 |
