| 内容記述 | This paper focuses on the "Global South" and examines their impact on nondemocratization worldwide. First, it summarizes the concepts of non-democratization and the Global South, and divides the relationship between them into two themes: (1) the Global South as an actor in non-democratization, and (2) the Global South involved in non-democratization internationally. It then focuses on major countries and regional international organizations in the Global South, namely India, Indonesia and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), Brazil and the Organization of American States (OAS), and the Republic of South Africa and the African Union (AU), and examines their respective levels of democratization, the position of democracy in their diplomacy and activities, and their involvement in nondemocratization, including the promotion and support of democracy. In doing so, it examines how the movements of these Global South actors have responded to individual cases of nondemocratization and how they have affected non-democratization. | |||||||||||||
