Responses revealed that sincere workers navigate dilemmas amidst constraints of resources, duties as public servants, standards of their own culture, gaps with different cultures, and the influence of government policies.  The dilemmas identified were as follows. First was the dilemma of how especting privacy relates to support.  Social workers grapple with enhancing the effectiveness of support while respecting privacy, which is highly regarded in Sweden. Second was the dilemma whereby adherence to regulations raises questions for workers who truly want to effectively provide support. Third was the current reality of limited resources hindering optimal service provision. Fourth was the dilemma tied to policies since Sweden has become less receptive to refugees, causing workers to struggle from a human rights perspective. Fifth was the dilemma of respecting diversity while experiencing conflicts between individual cultures and Swedish culture. While each culture should be respected, the current results suggest that a culture cannot be endorsed when it violates individual rights, and especially\nwhen the values of lifestyle and social work clash.
