To some extent, language teachers all need to familiar with using materials which works on computer systems as these will spread beyond the multimedia laboratory into the ordinary classroom. At the Faculty of International Studies, Bunkyo University, four new courses 'CALL101, 102, 201, 202' will be launched in the year 2000. In these classes, the four skills will be taught in an integrated way with the assistance of a computer network system and CD-ROMs. The emphasis for the courses is that students will acquire computer-mediated communication ability, particularly, in presenting their ideas in speech and writing.
