| 内容記述 | The involvement of the autonomic nervous system is an important factor in the development of ischemic heart disease (IHD). Thus, IHD patients (N=64) and normal controls 3 (N=15) groups split by the mean of psychological tests, and time-coure change in the low frequency/high frequency (LH/HF) ratio calculated by spectrum analysis was investigated in the 2× 2 × 10 [group (IHD, normal)× psychological test (high, low)× time (10 blocks)] analysis of covariance with age as covariates. LF/HF was significantly higher in the IHD, than in normal controls, showing elevation of the sympathetic nervous system activity in IHD patients. In the neuroticism scale, LF/HF was high regardless of the neuroticism score in the IHD group. In normal controls, by contrast, LF/HF was significantly lower in the low neuroticism group. In the angerhostility scale, LF/HF was low regardless of anger-hostility score in normal controls, whereas in the IHD group, LF/HF was significantly increased in the high anger-hostility group. These findings indicated that the activity of the sympathetic nerves system was consistently elevated even during sleep in IHD patients, and the sympathetic nerve system activity was further elevated by tendency of neuroticism and anger-hostility. We speculate that psychological factors influence the sympathetic nervous system activity, leading to the development of IHD. | |||||||||||||||||||||
