By using \"yo\", in \"sente-hatsugen\" the speaker asks the hearer to become assured of the speaker's judgment, while in \"ukete-hatsugen\" the speaker becomes assured of the hearer's or his own judgment. By using \"ne\", in \"sente-hatsugen\" the speaker asks the hearer to confirm the speaker's judgment, while in \"ukete-hatsgen\" the speaker confirms the hearer's or his own judgment. \n This paper compares the uses of these Japanese sentence-final particles with corresponding English expressions. For example, \"yo\" corresponds to \"I'm telling you\", while \"ne\" corresponds to a tagquestion. In the course of the discussion it will be shown that in the territory belonging to the hearer in \"sente-hatsugen\" and belonging to the speaker in \"ukete-hatsugen\" and in the territory belonging to a third party, Japanese and English expressions are used in the same way but that in the territory belonging to both the speaker and the hearer they behave somewhat differently. In this territory, in Japanese the common experience of the speaker and the hearer is important, whereas in English the content of the judgment seems to determine the choice of assurance or confirmation.\n\\n 村山(1998 a,b)は日本語の終助詞「よ」と「ね」の用法を「先手発言」、「受け手発言」に分けて考察し、「よ」は確信を、「ね」は確認を表すことを示した。\n 本稿ではこれらの日本語の終助詞に相当すると考えられている英語の表現形式が日本語の場合と同じように使われるのかを観察し、日本語の場合と比較する。まず、1章で上記の村山に若干の修正を加え、2章で英語の場合を観察し、3章で日・英語の場合の比較を行う。","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"}]},"item_5_description_38":{"attribute_name":"フォーマット","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_description":"application/pdf","subitem_description_type":"Other"}]},"item_5_source_id_19":{"attribute_name":"ISSN","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"03893367"}]},"item_5_text_39":{"attribute_name":"本文言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_text_value":"日本語"}]},"item_5_text_42":{"attribute_name":"ID","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_text_value":"BKSJ200008"}]},"item_5_text_7":{"attribute_name":"Author","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_text_value":"Murayama, Yasuo"}]},"item_5_text_8":{"attribute_name":"所属機関","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_text_value":"文教大学情報学部"}]},"item_5_text_9":{"attribute_name":"Institution","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_text_value":"Bunkyo University Faculty of Information and Communications"}]},"item_5_version_type_35":{"attribute_name":"著者版フラグ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_version_type":"VoR"}]},"item_creator":{"attribute_name":"著者","attribute_type":"creator","attribute_value_mlt":[{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"村山, 康雄"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]}]},"item_files":{"attribute_name":"ファイル情報","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_date","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2018-03-24"}],"displaytype":"detail","filename":"BKSJ200008.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"671.3 kB"}],"format":"application/pdf","licensetype":"license_note","mimetype":"application/pdf","url":{"label":"BKSJ200008.pdf","url":"https://bunkyo.repo.nii.ac.jp/record/3205/files/BKSJ200008.pdf"},"version_id":"e697256c-da84-4c76-ab6f-1a59be822eb9"}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"jpn"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"departmental bulletin paper","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501"}]},"item_title":"確信、確認を表す表現形式 : 日・英語の比較","item_titles":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"確信、確認を表す表現形式 : 日・英語の比較"},{"subitem_title":"Expressions Indicating Assurance and Confirmation : A Comparative Study of English and Japanese"}]},"item_type_id":"5","owner":"3","path":["204"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"公開日","attribute_value":"2011-02-22"},"publish_date":"2011-02-22","publish_status":"0","recid":"3205","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["確信、確認を表す表現形式 : 日・英語の比較"],"weko_creator_id":"3","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2023-05-16T16:46:42.906919+00:00"}
