This activity will make deep impact on sustainable economic growth in Europe.\n　This paper is to examine historical perspective of EU in terms of unification of currencies in 11 countries. In addition, creation of the Information Society as well as trends in foreign investment is analyzed. The study hinted a rising potential economic power of EU in comparison with USA.
