| 内容記述 | 本研究は、企業組織における情報システムの導入に伴って発生する失敗(抵抗や混乱による構築・運用の放棄)について、システムの利用者側と提供者側のコンテキストギャップに着目した事例分析を行うものである。ここで、「コンテキスト」とは、各当事者の認知、決定、行動を支える前提(想定・仮説)を分析者が抽出したものを意味する。 本研究では、新しい情報システム導入への抵抗や混乱の事例について、その問題点を(A)導入プロジェクトの進め方と(B)情報システムの内容そのものとに分けて分析し、その原因をシステムの「提供者」と「利用者」のコンテキストギャップに求める。3社の具体的事例の分析により、情報システムの失敗には、「正当性ギャップ」、「妥当性ギャップ」、「不可避性ギャップ」のそれぞれに起因するものがあることを主張する。 研究の成果は以下である。本研究が主張するフレームワークによるギャップ分析を行うことで情報システム失敗の可能性がある程度予測可能となる。また、利用者抵抗の原因とその対応策を検討しやすくなる。最悪の場合でも、企業組織における情報システム失敗経験を次の成功へつなぐための助けとなる。 \n This paper proposes an analytical framework about the failures of Introducing information systems caused by resistance and confusion. The framework considers context gap between system users and system. Context in this paper means premises (assumption, hypothesis) which support recognition, decision, and behavior of the people concerned. It is extracted by an .analyst. The framework divides problems of the failures into (A) how to introduce a project and (B) the specification itself of the information system. The causes of the failures are explained by context gap between system users and system planners. The paper argues three types of failure as follows. Legitimacy gap, Actuality gap and Inevitability gap. The framework can help a planner of information system analyze possibilities of the failures. It can help him/her to plan to cope with resistance and confusion. It can help him/her to learn the failure for next project. |
