Nyo?Kan\" were used, with Bankei's religious thought also taken into consideration in its connection with the fundamental enlightenment. Bankei, a Zen Master, lived in the early Tokugawa Period.\n　In the course of the study, the form of thought represented in Karl Jaspers' \"Das Lesen der Chiffreschrift\" would be examined.
