It is well acknowledged that a starting point of this argument is based upon the goverment deregulation policies for the major industries including the liberalization of interest rates in the financial market. The above issues are not only academically interesting, but also important to Japan, because most of the experts in this field anticipate that similar trends will happen in Japan in the near future. This kind of argument as well as the hypothesis is supported by various data which include the result of growing globalization and interdependence of US?
