| 内容記述 | The term "information" is used widely. But it has too many different meanings. For example, computer engineers use it from an engineering viewpoint. On the other hand, journalists use it from an entirely different viewpoint. To construct the study of information on a firm basis, we must try to establish a unified consept of the term "information". This paper examines the historical development and present state of information in general. From this viewpoint, I intend to provide a basis for specific information studies in the future. |
