| 内容記述 | This article investigates the communication patterns among participants in the electronic conferences of a nationwide computer network system in Japan, in which over 120,000 users are registered as of July 1990. A total of 293,024 messages from 15,202 persons were taken from 1390 electronic conference rooms in 158 forums. 42 variables for each conference room were created in order to indicate the user's communication hehavior, which was analysed by principal component analysis. Four principal components are found; (1) Reciprocity between participants, (2) Equity of speaking, (3) Single or multiple leadership patterns, and (4) Degree of group activity. The features and availability of group-media in the immediate future are also discussed. |
