| 内容記述 | This paper analyses the relationship among energy demand, environment (especially CO2) and economic growth in OECD countries. In section 1, we consider theoretical aspects of welfare analysis of the change which reduced from energy conservation by introducing carbon tax. In section 2, we estimate the residential energy demand in OECD countries by the panel analysis, pooling cross section and time series data. Also, we estimate substituion elasticity among fuels and own price elasticity of such fuels as oil, electricity and gas, using translog cost share function. In section 3, we analyse the relationship among CO2, energy and economic growth in major OECD countries (G7) using factor decomposition analysis. In section 4, we estimate long term demand of total energy in Japan. |
