| 内容記述 | Butoh, a form of modern dance, is now high regarded throughout the world. This success lies in the fact that although Butoh reflects the physical characteristics of Japanese people and the climate of Japan, it has broken the boundary of races through its universal philosophy created by its specific style and method. It was originally created in Japan as Ankoku - Butoh (Dance of Darkness) by the Japanese avantgarde dancer/choreographer Tatsumi Hijikata (1928 - 1986) in the 1960's. He used words when he choreographed his dance. In this study, the concept of his choreography and the method of his technique will be studied from a linguistic point of view by imaginary into his books and my rehearsal notes. I aim to clarify what he tried to achieve in his theory and dance throughout his life. |
