The Korean people's "Minority education" for Korean people in China followed a different path from the "Ethnic education" in Korean peninsula. The "Ethnic education" is to study the language, history and culture because the identity as the Ethnic is maintained or is established by it. However, after the establishment of the People's Republic of China (PRC) the "Ethnic education" was changed to "Minority education" as part of "Mass education" because of national integration. The "Ethnic education" that had been done after Korean people migrated to China became the member of a Chinese minority "Korean people" and became "National integrated education" in "Minority education". In addition, the education to lose "Two mother country ideas" (Korea and PRC) from the first stage of the PRC founding of a country and to recognize China as the only mother country was advanced.
