In the summer of 2004, we accompanied ten students from the Faculty of International Studies to East Timor. The students went for two weeks to study international cooperation and to engage in volunteer work in a high mountain village. In preparation for the trip, students collected a large amount of used clothes, musical instruments and other items. In this paper, we review the students' participation as well as the local conditions, and consider possible further development of this project in the village. We then propose a long-term commitment in a framework of student internship at both undergraduate and graduate levels in the coming years.}, pages = {91--102}, title = {東ティモールにおけるボランティア活動と持続性ある開発への一考察}, volume = {15}, year = {} }
