Our present profit-oriented consumer society has been expanding and advancing itself with the assistance of technological development, to creating and stimulating the desire to buy goods and to manipulate world, which is ironically depriving us of settlement and composure in compensation for egoistic gratification to be speedy. The most substantial, serious problem to which we must pay attention is the fact that the development of technology alienating us from the earth (nature) has been eroding “distance perception” which is the basis of ethics, experience namely the possibility of wisdom, because “distance perception” is spreading not through air but along the physical earth (as Ulric Neisser examined and certificated).
