 note = {Bunkyo University offered "Introduction to Chigasaki-ology" as one of the Liberal Education courses in the spring term in 2010. This course consists of history, nature, culture, education system, agriculture, fishery, tourism, industries, government and so on. 18 professionals were invited and had a lecture with professors.
　The distinguishing features of this course were as follows;
(1) Co-sponsoring of Bunkyo University and Chigasaki Municipal Government
(2) Studying together with university students and citizens
(3) Many guest lecturers
(4) Collaboration with guest lecturers and professors
(5) Study support by web site
　37 university students and 91 citizens attended this course. Most of them appreciated (1) and (2), (3) of the numbered features above. And they expect to select and investigate themes of lectures, and to have more opportunities of discussion with students and citizens.
