In this paper I try to compare these Namban Screens with the early Christian literature and Arts in Japan.  I find several religious points symbolized by Kano Naizen.  The results obtained are as follows : (1)The name of one ship painted on the right screen is Santa Maria Go (サンタ・マリア号), the other ship painted on the left screen is Deus Go (デウス号). (2)The name of an Ecclesia (chapel) painted on the right screen is Assumptio Beatae Mariae Virginis (被昇天の聖母教会), another chapel name painted on the left screen Is Deus (デウス寺). (3)The three persons painted on left screen are Deus Padre Deus Filho (Jesu Christo), and Maria.  In other words, the three figures in an exotic church are the Holy Family. (4)On the right screen, a woman who stands by a shop curtain (Noren) and a boy who leads the way are mother and son.  They symbolize Maria and Jesu in this world.  Naizen was not a Christian, but he was friendly forwards Christian religion and produced a holy work of art., 論文内の写真 狩野内膳筆「南蛮屏風」(神戸市立博物館蔵)は、論文作成時およびリポジトリ登録にあたり、神戸市立博物館より利用許可を得たものである。}, pages = {101--116}, title = {内膳南蛮屏風の宗教性}, volume = {2}, year = {} }
