The aim of this study is to examine feasibility of such a programme. Firstly, investigations into domestic and overseas universities which have already operated long-term internship were studied. Secondly, interviews were conducted with a range of organisations to see the degree to which they would be readily cooperate with the programme. Those organisations include local governments, museums and commercial enterprises.  Findings from studies on forerunning universities are:   -Second and/or third year students are entitled to long-term internship programme; and   -The mode of duration of long-term internship is six months.  Findings from interviews with various organisations are:   -Local governments tend to exhibit positive attitude towards the programme;   -Museums do not often accept undergraduates since professional knowledge and experience are required; and   -Responses from commercial enterprises differ depending on the business category and characteristics of business model.
