| 内容記述 | The purpose of this study was (1) to understand more clearly junior high school students' awareness and behavior in relation to delinquency and problem behaviors, and (2) to discuss about the relationships among the causes of stress, stress responses and awareness and behavior in relation to those behaviors. The subjects were junior high school students (male 125, female 89) who live in the Tokyo area. The results of the study showed that almost all of the students thought criminal behavior was a bad thing and they have not done anything criminal. But there were different opinions about delinquency and school rules. Especially more than half of the students thought that using cosmetics and 'running away from home' were not bad things. The result of factor analysis of awareness and behavior concerning delinquency, three factors, use of cosmetics, delinquency, and bulling were obtained. The stress response behaviors had four factors that showed irritation and anger, depression, truancy, and bullying. The result of multiple regression analysis suggested that the students who did not wish to attend school regularly when under stress accepted changing their appearances. And the students who tended to bully accepted the concept of delinquency and school problems. Therefore, the possibility of stress management education for these stress responses in preventing the delinquency and problem behavior of junior high school students was suggested. |
