However, due to the lack of slots at Haneda airport, newcomers could not fully enjoy the deregulation and the fare competition among airlines never took place drastically.\n Since March this year, three Japanese LCCs started their operations one after another and it looks like they are having a great impact upon the Japanese sky.\nThe history of LCCs goes back to 1970’s.
