| 内容記述 | The group dynamics of a developmental group in which the growing of the relationship between the group and the individual members is probed can be confirmed by the Interpersonal Understanding Test (Acquaintance Test Revised) and TST (Twenty Statements Test). In a previous paper, we suggested that newcomers to a group proceeded into the advanced level of group development more quickly than old-timers. In the research for this paper, we have ascertained that the Residual Quantity --the discrepancy between the actual average grade of each group member and the maximum expected grade of average --suggests better the development of their understanding. The fewer Residual Quantity is, the deeper the understanding becomes. The qualitative relation and quantitative proportion between newcomer's and old-timer's subgroups in a developmental group manifest a certain group character. In so far as there are, however, some members who participate positively and successively over several terms, the average Residual Quantity of the group diminishes with term. We noted that, even if the group is an open one which members can attend or be absent from freely, the 'group-as-a-whole' may gradually respond to the growing of understanding in individual members. | |||||||||||||||||||||
