Although the Chinese government has many restrictions on the broadcast of foreign animation on local television, due to the fact that the main channel of entry into China is through piracy and Internet broadcasting, the popularity of Japanese animation shows no sign of declining. There are a large number of Japanese animation fans amidst Chinese youngsters giving it certain market potential, now beginning to attract Japanese animation industries into making an attempt at China’s market.
