| 内容記述 | The aim of this study is to find out the characteristics of opening and closing in e-mail conversation on the mobile phone written in Japanese mainly by young people. 80 exchanges were examined. The results were as follows: (1) As for opening section, many exchanges have the mutual recognition between a sender and a receiver, however, some of them have the sudden introduction of a new topic with no appeal to the receiver. (2) As for closing section, some exchanges has no closing section because of the characteristics of e-mail on the mobile phone. (3) As for closing section, it is sometimes seen that the pre-closing or Leave-taking is disregarded. |
