Today, people seek the solace of improved interpersonal relationships. Hattori defined hospitality as“ the host and guest creating a cocreative partnership, based on mutual respect, that leads to mutual satisfaction. The results of that partnership meet or exceed the expectations of both parties, so both parties seek to establish that partnership again.” However, the process of creating such a partnership, i.e. through Dialogue, Conflict, and Re-appraisal of Mission, must be defined when looking at hospitality in the field of social welfare services.
