Although making a profit is typically a\nstrong incentive for people who engage in an organization, a nonprofit organization does not offer such\nan incentive. Instead, nonprofit organizations increase social effects by providing a vision as an\nalternative incentive. Profit and vision are not always compatible as the former tends to undermine the\nlatter. Nonprofit organizations can attain the goal of having a vision because of their nonprofit\nideology. Successful nonprofits share a common system that consists of increasing social capital,\nspreading a vision, and conducting operational reforms.
