The Agency for Cultural Affairs in the Japanese government has suggested educational contents for Japanese teacher training courses and it includes elements from the field of "language and psychology".The purpose of this study was to investigate comprehension and perceived usefulness of terms from the field of "language and psychology".35 terms were selected from the field of psychology and cross-cultural study, and a questionnaire survey was conducted for Japanese language teachers. As a result of statistical analysis, it was revealed that some terms were perceived as highly useful. However, the analysis showed a lower level of understanding of some of these terms.
